11:14 AM EDT, 06/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Blackstone (BX) said Monday its private equity funds have completed the acquisition of Tropical Smoothie Cafe from Levine Leichtman Capital Partners.

Financial details of the deal weren't disclosed.

Former chief executive of Dunkin' Brands, Nigel Travis, will serve as chair of the board of Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Blackstone said.

Shares of Blackstone were slightly higher in recent trading.
