Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.86.

Total investment income for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $353 million, compared with $304 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $346.9 million.

The company maintained its quarterly dividend at $0.77 per share, payable April 25 to shareholders of record as of March 31.
