10:24 AM EDT, 08/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Blackstone (BX) said Thursday that private equity funds affiliated with the company have agreed to acquire electrical system maintenance provider Shermco for about $1.6 billion from Gryphon Investors.

Blackstone's private equity arm for individual investors and Blackstone Energy Transition Partners are expected to invest in Shermco, it added.
