Blank-Check Company Andretti Acquisition Launches $200 Million IPO

04:13 AM EDT, 09/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Andretti Acquisition 2 on Thursday priced an initial public offering of 20 million units at a price of $10 per unit.

The blank-check company, linked to race car drivers Mario and Michael Andretti, said the units are expected to begin trading on Nasdaq Friday under the ticker symbol POLEU.

Each unit consists of one ordinary share and one-half of a redeemable warrant, with each whole warrant giving the holder the right to purchase one share at a price of $11.50 per share.

Once the securities start trading, the shares are expected to be listed under the symbol POLE. The offering is expected to close on Monday.

The company has also granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to 3 million additional units to cover over-allotments.
