09:53 AM EDT, 10/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Blink Charging ( BLNK ) said its UK subsidiary was chosen by Wakefield Council to install, own, and operate 184 electric vehicle chargers across the Wakefield district in the UK.
The company said the project includes 54 on-street and 130 off-street chargers and is supported by 282,000 British pounds ($378,553) in government funding through the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program.
Installation is expected to be completed within two years, Blink said.
Shares of the company were up 10% in early Wednesday trading.
