02:06 PM EDT, 05/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Block (XYZ) said Tuesday that it will launch bitcoin payments on Square, with roll-out expected in the second half of this year and reaching all eligible Square sellers in 2026.

The company said the Square Point of Sale app enables merchants to accept bitcoin payments through their Square hardware.
