Block's Ticker Symbols to Change on NYSE and ASX

05:19 PM EST, 01/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Block (SQ) said Thursday it will change its ticker symbols from "SQ" and "SQ2" to "XYZ."

The ticker changes on the company's dual listings on the New York Stock Exchange and the Australian Securities Exchange are effective Jan. 21.

Block's common shares will start trading under the new symbol effective Jan. 22, according to the company.
