Bloom Energy, Shell Collaborate to Explore Renewable Hydrogen Energy Projects

10:36 AM EST, 03/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Bloom Energy ( BE ) said Wednesday that it is collaborating with Shell (SHEL) to study decarbonization solutions using Bloom's hydrogen electrolyzer technology.

This technology generates large-scale clean hydrogen as an alternative to traditional "grey" hydrogen produced at refineries with high carbon dioxide emissions, the company added.

The main goal is to develop solid oxide electrolyzer systems capable of producing hydrogen for potential use at Shell assets, the company said.
