Feb 20, 2025 6:28 AM

08:54 AM EST, 02/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bloomin' Brands ( BLMN ) said Thursday it is reducing its workforce at its restaurant support center by about 100 employees across various units supporting corporate and restaurant operations.

The cutbacks amount to about 17% of its restaurant support center team members, the company said.

Bloomin' Brands ( BLMN ) said it expects to incur charges of around $7.5 million in one-time severance and termination benefit costs mostly in Q1, but anticipates annualized savings of about $22 million.

As part of the restructuring, the company said it has named Chief Supply Chain & Operations Excellence Officer Lissette Gonzalez as chief commercial officer and Kelia Bazile as president of Carrabba's Italian Grill.
