05:47 AM EDT, 07/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Blue World Acquisition Corp. ( BWAQ ) and TOYO Co. Ltd said Monday they have completed the pending merger between TOYO's subsidiary, Vietnam Sunergy Cell Company, and Blue World.

Shares of Blue World fell more than 34% in after-hours activity Monday. The shares sank more than 50% in regular trading on Monday.

The ordinary shares of TOYO are expected to begin trading on Nasdaq this Tuesday under the ticker symbol, "TOYO." Meanwhile, TOYO's warrants are expected to begin trading on the OTC Markets.
