04:27 PM EDT, 08/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- bluebird bio (BLUE) said late Friday it received a noncompliance notice from Nasdaq for not timely filing its report for the quarters ended March 31 and June 30 on Form 10-Q with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company said it has until Sept. 4 to submit an update to its original plan to regain compliance.

bluebird also did not submit its 2023 annual report and has until Oct. 14 to file its delinquent reports for the year ended Dec. 31, 2023, on Form 10-K.

bluebird said it is persistently working to complete these filings.
