Both sets of data are facing headwinds amid the trade turmoil with the United States, said the bank.
Markets will hear from Bank of Canada Governor Tiff Macklem, who will deliver remarks on "Flexible-inflation targeting in a more shock-prone world" at 2:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, added BMO.
