01:01 PM EST, 11/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Rogers Sugar ( RSGUF ) reported a fourth-quarter beat, driven by strength in the Sugar segment. Sugar EBITDA was above BMO estimate on strong margins. Maple results declined and were in line with BMO forecast.

Maple is expected to be steady y/y, following recent recovery (in line). LEAP Project costs are moving higher (+40-50% above original estimate to $280-300 million.)

Reiterate Market Perform rating. BMO believes the 6.0% yield could be attractive to income-oriented investors.

Target of $7.00.
