FRANKFURT, Nov 6 (Reuters) - BMW is
well-positioned for any possible import tariffs in the United
States, its CEO told analysts on Wednesday, saying two thirds of
its local sales were produced in its Spartanburg plant in South
Carolina.
Oliver Zipse said that BMW's "perfect set-up" in the U.S.
market provided a "natural cover-up" for potential tariffs,
which have been flagged by Donald Trump, who has claimed victory
in the U.S. presidential election.
