BMW North America to recall over 87,000 U.S. vehicles over engine starter overheating issue

Feb 7 (Reuters) - BMW North America is

recalling ‌87,394 vehicles in the ‍U.S. ⁠as ⁠the engine starter ‌may

overheat, causing a fire ⁠risk, ‍the U.S. National Highway Traffic

Safety ‍Administration said on Saturday.

Dealers will replace the ‍engine starter free of charge, the

auto regulator said.
