BMW to absorb tariff costs on Mexican-built 3 Series sedans, WSJ reports
Mar 12, 2025 1:48 PM

(Reuters) - German automaker BMW is telling dealers in the U.S. it will absorb the added cost of new tariffs on its imports from Mexico, at least for the next several weeks, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.

BMW said it had certain Mexican-built models that would be subject to tariffs, the 3 Series sedan and 2 Series coupe, including its M2 performance version, and it would "price protect" these vehicles until May 1, WSJ said.
