Boeing Defense, IAM Union Begin Contract Negotiations

12:50 PM EDT, 06/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing's ( BA ) Boeing Defense has begun non-economic contract negotiations with the union representing about 3,200 members across facilities in St. Louis and St. Charles, Missouri, and Mascoutah, Illinois, the IAM Union said Friday.

District 837 members play a "critical" role in building key defense platforms, including the F-15 and F/A-18 fighter jets, the T-7A Red Hawk trainer, the union said. It said the current agreement expires July 27, with a contract vote scheduled for the same day.

Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
