Boeing Delivers 40 Planes in August, Unfilled Orders Reach 6,165

12:58 PM EDT, 09/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) delivered 40 planes in August, up from 35 it delivered a year ago but down from 43 planes delivered in July, according to the company's data from Tuesday.

August deliveries included 32 737 Max commercial jets.

Boeing ( BA ) reported 22 orders for August that included 20 737 Max jets and two 737-700 planes, its data showed. That compares with 45 orders in August 2023.

The company's unfilled orders stood at 6,165 as of Aug. 31, including 4,729 737 Max jets.

Shares of the company were down 2.9% in recent trading.
