Boeing Gets US Contract for Next-Generation Fighter Aircraft

03:05 PM EDT, 03/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) said Friday the US Air Force has awarded the company a contract to design, build and deliver its next-generation fighter aircraft.

The Next-Generation Air Dominance platform will usher in a new generation of fighter jets, according to the news release. It said the platform is the central node in the NGAD Family of Systems.

Shares of Boeing ( BA ) were up about 4% in recent trading.
