07:44 AM EDT, 05/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration are planning to have the company's first crewed launch of its Starliner spacecraft on June 1, media outlets reported Thursday, citing the agency.
The mission was initially planned for May 7 but was canceled to investigate a helium leak on Starliner's propulsion system. NASA said the leak was traced to a valve component on a single thruster, according to the reports.
Boeing ( BA ) and NASA did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
