Boeing Receives Order for Up to 50 Widebody Airplanes From Korean Air

10:50 AM EDT, 07/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) and Korean Air said Monday the airline intends to buy up to 50 widebody Boeing ( BA ) planes, including 20 777-9s and 20 787-10s, with options for 10 more 787-10s.

The 777-9 can carry 426 passengers with a range of 13,500 km, while the 787-10 can seat up to 336 passengers with a range of 11,730 km, the companies said.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
