06:21 AM EDT, 07/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing's ( BA ) chief of commercial planes, Stephanie Pope, said the company has seen a "significant improvement" in 737 MAX production recently, according to media reports on Sunday.
Media outlets said Pope made the remarks to reporters ahead of an airshow in London. According to reports, Pope referred to the improvement as "transformative change." The executive also said Boeing's ( BA ) MAX production levels could reach the monthly maximum level of 38 aircraft set by the Federal Aviation Administration by the end of 2024, Forbes reported.
Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
