03:48 PM EDT, 07/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) on Tuesday reported annual and sequential gains in both deliveries and orders for the second quarter.
The plane maker delivered 150 aircraft in the June quarter, up from 92 a year earlier and 130 in the prior quarter. The latest quarterly deliveries included 102 737 Max jets, according to data on the company's website.
Deliveries in June totaled 60 aircraft, compared with 44 a year ago and 45 in the previous month.
Boeing ( BA ) booked 427 orders in the second quarter, surging from 25 a year earlier and 241 in the March period, the data showed. Orders booked in June totaled 116, compared with 14 last year and 303 in May.
Boeing's ( BA ) shares were little changed ahead of market close on Tuesday. The stock has gained about 23% so far this year.
Boeing's ( BA ) European rival, Airbus, delivered 63 aircraft and booked 203 orders in June. Airbus' year-to-date deliveries totaled 306.
For the first half of the year, Boeing's ( BA ) deliveries totaled 280 aircraft, while overall orders received by the company totaled 668. The company will release its second-quarter financial results on July 29.
