06:43 AM EDT, 09/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) will sell four P-8A maritime patrol aircraft to Singapore in the first phase of the Singapore Armed Forces' plan to refresh maritime security capabilities, the country's defense ministry said Wednesday.
The jets will replace the existing Fokker 50s, which have been in service since 1993.
Production of the 20 Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) F-35 aircraft that Singapore has purchased has started, with delivery on track from the end of 2026, according to the defense ministry.
