07:31 AM EDT, 05/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) said Thursday that it has improved its workforce training for new hires in manufacturing and quality following a six-week pause in late February.

The new hires will now undergo increased foundational skills training of 10 to 14 weeks before moving to production, the company said.

The company has also installed a section of 737 fuselage for workers to practice skills like wiring installation and identifying potential defects at its Renton training center.
