Boeing Wins $173 Million US Air Force Contract for 8 Additional MH-139A Helicopters

01:21 PM EDT, 10/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) said Wednesday it received a $173 million contract from the US Air Force to produce eight additional MH-139A Grey Wolf helicopters, along with training and sustainment support.

The new order brings Boeing's ( BA ) total MH-139A aircraft under contract to 34, including deliveries expected for Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota, the company said.

The MH-139A, based on Leonardo's AW139 platform, is designed for patrol, search and rescue, and transport missions. Boeing ( BA ) said it has delivered 18 aircraft to date, including 12 from low-rate initial production.

Shares of Boeing ( BA ) were up more than 1% in recent trading Wednesday.
