Boeing Wins $2.38 Billion Contract to Deliver Additional KC-46A Tankers to US Air Force

05:31 AM EST, 11/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) said Thursday that it won a contract award valued at $2.38 billion to build an additional 15 units of KC-46A Pegasus tankers for the US Air Force.

According to the company, the US Air Force Air Mobility Command cleared KC-46A for global combat operations in 2022 and Pegasus was deployed for full-scale operation in October.

Boeing ( BA ) said it now has a total of 168 KC-46A multi-mission aerial refuelers on contract globally.
