Boeing Wins Order From China Development Bank for 50 737 MAX 8 Jets

07:05 AM EDT, 09/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) secured an order for 50 737 MAX 8 jets from China Development Bank Financial Leasing's aviation leasing unit, the latter said on Wednesday.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The planes will be delivered between 2028 and 2031, the Chinese company said.

This marks the largest order by a Chinese customer since China Southern Airlines ordered the same number of MAX planes in 2015, according to data from Boeing's ( BA ) website.

Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment on the matter.
