Sep 12, 2025 11:17 AM

01:57 PM EDT, 09/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) workers at the defense facilities in St. Louis, Missouri, will prolong their strike after union members rejected a modified five-year contract offer from the company, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District 837 said Friday.

"Boeing's ( BA ) modified offer did not include a sufficient signing bonus relative to what other Boeing ( BA ) workers have received, or a raise in 401(k) benefits," the union said.

The latest offer included a $4,000 ratification bonus and a 24% general wage hike over five years, according to multiple reports.

About 3,200 union members at Boeing ( BA ) have been on strike since Aug. 4, according to the union.

Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
