Mar 31, 2025 9:15 AM

11:38 AM EDT, 03/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing's ( BA ) Starliner spacecraft is "the most robust" in the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's inventory, astronaut Butch Wilmore said in an interview on Fox News aired Monday.

Wilmore and Suni Williams had to stay on the International Space Station for over nine months when NASA decided to use a different spacecraft for their return after facing technical issues with Starliner's thrusters, according to the report.

The two astronauts returned to earth on March 18 on SpaceX's Dragon capsule.

Boeing ( BA ) and SpaceX did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
