10:27 AM EDT, 07/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) said Monday that its X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle is preparing for its eighth mission from Florida's Space Coast, with liftoff expected no earlier than Aug. 21.

The spaceplane is set to fly with a service module, expanding capacity for experiments and offering new opportunities for mission partners, according to the statement.

Boeing ( BA ) said the new mission comes less than six months after the completion of the seventh mission.
