Sept 12 (Reuters) - Bank of America ( BAC ) appointed

Dean Athanasia and Jim DeMare as co-presidents, the U.S. lender

said on Friday, as CEO Brian Moynihan reinforced his commitment

to lead the second-largest bank in the country through the end

of the decade.
