Bombardier Announces Date For Start Of Its New Normal Course Issuer Bid

09:13 AM EDT, 04/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Bombardier Inc. (BBD-A.TO, BBD-B.TO) on Monday said its new normal course issuer bid will begin on April 3, following the early termination of its current normal course issuer bid. The TSX has approved Bombardier's purchases of up to 1.75 million of its Class B shares (subordinate voting) under the New NCIB, representing approximately 2.05% of the 85,307,628 Class B shares (subordinate voting) issued and outstanding as of March 21, 2024.

Bombardier's current normal course issuer bid, which started on May 23, last year, would have ended May 22, 2024. As permitted by the TSX, the 2023 NCIB will terminate early on April 2, the day before the effective date of the new NCIB, which will terminate on April 2, 2025.
