11:19 AM EDT, 04/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bombardier (BBD-B.TO) on Tuesday said its Global 8000 business jet program is progressing to plan, with its first Global 8000 production aircraft continuing in the assembly phase in the Greater Toronto Area toward a planned entry-into-service in 2025.

The company said the jet will be the fastest civil aircraft since the Concorde, with a top speed of Mach 0.94 and range of 8,000 nautical miles

The company's shares were last seen up $1.59 to $77.76 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Price: 77.74, Change: +1.57, Percent Change: +2.06
