01:20 PM EDT, 07/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Bombardier (BBD-B.TO) was last seen up 4.2% after the company said Wednesday its Canadian workers represented by Unifor's Locals 112 and 673 ratified a new three-year collective agreement.
The agreement ends an 18-day strike at the company's aircraft manufacturing facilities in Mississauga and Waterloo.
The agreement provides workers with general wage increases of 12.5% over the life of the agreement, increased pension contributions, and better job security, Unifor said in a statement.
Unifor's Locals 112 and 673 members are working at the company's Aircraft Assembly Centre in the Greater Toronto area.
The company's shares were last seen up $4.16 to $90.57 on the Toronto Stock Exchange
