11:57 AM EDT, 05/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Moody's on Tuesday assigned a "B1" rating to Bombardier's (BBD-B.TO) proposed senior unsecured notes due 2032.

The company's "B1" corporate family rating, "B1-PD" probability of default rating, "SGL-2" speculative grade liquidity rating, "B1" senior unsecured notes rating, and stable outlook remain unchanged.

The stable outlook reflects the rating agency's expectation that Bombardier will continue to generate free cash flow and that margins and financial leverage will improve in 2024 and 2025.

The company used the proceeds to fund the repurchase of its notes due in 2026 and 2027.
