The company said the application specifically covers the compositions of rhNELL-1 polypeptide and its use in treating bone conditions. Once approved, Bone Biologics ( BBLG ) said the patent will support its planned clinical development program and expand its intellectual property portfolio.

Shares of Bone Biologics ( BBLG ) were up more than 140% in recent premarket activity Friday.
