07:02 AM EDT, 08/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bonterra Energy ( BNEFF ) late on Thursday said it swung to a second-quarter net loss as revenue declined.
The net loss was $1.3 million, or $0.04 per share, compared with income of $7.3 million, or $0.20 per share.
Revenue was $64.2 million, down from $72.5 million. Funds flow fell to $23.1 million, or $0.62 per share, from $31.5 million, or $0.84 per share.
The company produced 16,399 barrels of oil equivalent per day, rising from 14,242 boe/d.
Bonterra said it is positioned to exceed its original full year production guidance within the bottom half of its original capital guidance range. As a result, the company increased its 2025 annual production guidance to 15,000 to 15,200 boe/d from its original guidance of 14,600 to 14,800 boe/d. The company also lowered its capital guidance range to $65 to $70 million from the previous range of $65 to $75 million.
