08:03 AM EST, 11/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bonterra Energy ( BNEFF ) said Thursday that it swung to a net loss in the third quarter as it reported lower revenue.
The company reported a net loss of C$3.6 million, or a loss of $0.10 per share, reversing the year-ago profit of $4.3 million, or $0.11 per share.
Analysts polled by FactSet forecast Bonterra's loss at $0.02 per share.
Revenue dropped to $55.2 million from $69.2 million. Production dipped to 14,460 barrels of oil equivalent per day from 15,320 boe per day, reflecting planned declines in the later half of the year following strong additions earlier in 2025.
Bonterra maintained its previously revised annual production guidance of 15,000 to 15,200 boe per day and annual capital expenditure guidance of $65 million to $70 million.
Bonterra's share price closed 2.6% higher on Wednesday to $3.99 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
