08:16 AM EDT, 10/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bowman Consulting Group ( BWMN ) said Monday it acquired the assets of California-based Sierra Overhead Analytics and its tech affiliate ORCaS, expanding its energy practice and digital services portfolio.

The purchase was funded with cash, seller notes and a convertible note, and is expected to run at about $2.2 million in initial net service billings and be immediately accretive, the company said.

The deal adds technology-centric civil design, precision mapping and hydrology capabilities used by energy and infrastructure clients, Bowman said.

The company also said the acquired tools will remain proprietary service add-ons in its platform, targeting areas such as data centers, climate resiliency, utilities, power and alternative energy.
