12:20 PM EDT, 05/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Boyd Gaming ( BYD ) said Monday that its board has authorized an additional $500 million under its share buyback program and maintained a quarterly dividend of $0.17 per share.

The company said it had about $721 million remaining in repurchase authority as of March 31 considering the additional authorization.

The dividend is payable July 15 to shareholders of record on June 15, the company said.

Shares of the company rose 1.4% in recent trading.
