03:41 AM EDT, 07/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- BP (BP) said Monday it has appointed Albert Manifold as chair of the board, effective Oct. 1.

Manifold previously served as chief executive officer of CRH (CRH), the oil giant added.

He will join BP's board on Sept. 1 as non-executive director and chair-elect, and will take over the chair role on Oct. 1 from Helge Lund, who will step down as chair and as a director of the company's board, BP said.
