05:06 AM EDT, 09/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- BP (BP) said Monday it has approved the $5 billion Tiber-Guadalupe drilling project in the Gulf of Mexico.
The project includes six wells and a two-well tieback with an expected production capacity of 80,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
Production in the platform is anticipated to start in 2030, the oil major said.
Tiber-Guadalupe will be the company's seventh operated production platform in the Gulf of Mexico.
