07:07 AM EDT, 05/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- BP (BP) said Friday it has named David Hager as a non-executive director to its board, effective June 2.

Hager, with over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, served as chief executive and president of Devon Energy ( DVN ) from 2015 to 2021 and as executive chair from 2021 to 2023, BP said. He is currently a non-executive director of MRC Global ( MRC ) , BP added.
