08:29 AM EDT, 04/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- BP's (BP) electric vehicle charging business, BP Pulse, cut more than 100 jobs in recent months, or over 10% of its worldwide headcount of 900, Reuters reported Monday, citing unnamed company sources.
In recent months, BP reduced the number of countries where it operates to four from 12, the news outlet reported.
BP said it will now focus on the US, Britain, Germany and China, where the company sees the most rapid growth in the market for EVs, according to the report.
The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
