06:41 AM EDT, 05/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- BP (BP) reported Q1 underlying earnings Tuesday of $0.97 per American depositary share, down from $1.66 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.02.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $48.88 billion, compared with $56.18 billion a year earlier.

Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $56.87 billion.
