05:30 PM EDT, 08/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- BQE Water ( BTQNF ) on Tuesday said it is integrating aquatic toxicology services into its business model.
The company said it will invest in establishing an aquatic toxicology laboratory as well as developing in-house resources to sustain the company's competitive position in producing clean mine water. It hired a team of aquatic toxicologists including James Elphick , Dr Ebrahim Lari, and Josh Baker.
BQE outlined its goals concerning the investment, which include reduced timelines and costs for remedies around toxicity in mine waters, building science-based site-specific water quality benchmarks, and providing guarantees to clients for effluent toxicity as part of its overall services.
