09:00 AM EDT, 08/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Braemar Hotels & Resorts ( BHR ) said in a regulatory filing Monday that it has closed the sale of the Marriott Seattle Waterfront hotel to Seafront Fjord Owner for $145 million.

The real estate investment trust said that together with the sale, it paid down about $88.4 million of debt and retained roughly $50.8 million of net proceeds, following payment of transfer taxes and transaction costs.

Braemar Hotels & Resorts Chief Executive Richard Stockton said the company doesn't expect additional property sales for the rest of the year.

Shares of the company were up more than 2% in recent premarket activity Monday.
