05:43 PM EDT, 07/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Brand Engagement Network ( BNAI ) said late Tuesday it appointed Janine Grasso as interim chief executive officer with immediate effect, succeeding Paul Chang.

Grasso will continue serving on the board, where she has contributed since February 2024, most recently as chair of the compensation committee.

Grasso brings over 20 years of experience from IBM ( IBM ) , Verizon (VZ), and DocuSign ( DOCU ) as the company finalizes the Cataneo acquisition and reported a $4.25 million debt reduction in Q2. She served as the head of the global partner ecosystem at DocuSign ( DOCU ) through early 2025.

The Cataneo acquisition will likely enhance the company's platform capabilities and international presence, it said. The deal remains on track for completion "later this summer."
