01:58 PM EST, 11/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Braskem ( BAK ) reported a Q3 loss Thursday of 869 million Brazilian reais ($152.3 million), narrowing from a loss of 2.56 billion reais.

Net revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose to 21.26 billion reais from 16.68 billion reais a year earlier, the company said.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected 21.30 billion reais.

The company's shares fell 2% in recent trading.
